I've had "Cubot KingKong Mini" (version 1) for several years
- very sturdy light phone, fits any pocket, used as navigation on mountain bike, survived many falls, rains etc.
- great screen resolution at that size, although average brightness
- slow camera, half time out of focus, but when focus was good the quality was like a good Sony camera, great for landscapes
- no software issues, good speed
- bad call speaker volume
- bad battery life, about 1 day
Now this "Cubot KingKong Mini 2 Pro"
- same construction
- about one third faster than version 1
- better screen brightness, like 20% more
- better made buttons
- slightly better call speaker volume, like 10% more
- worse camera, faster but good only for portraits, horrible quality for landscapes in any mode
- android 11 is horribly restrictive

anon, 25 Oct 2023turn on autorotation by clicking on tile "autorotation"Of course I've done that. And almost never worked. But I don't have the phone anymore because I wouldn't pay what they asked me (for supposedly a new screen, and the screen wasn't even broken) and for the return postage.

The least resistant phone I've ever had (and the only one dubbed as "rugged phone"). No image after little more than 8 months. And, since the beginning, the image almost never rotated (which mean watching videos/images in a small part of a 4-inch screen). Total waste of money.
