Most rugged phone makers now have models with a big speaker on back of phone, problem is they are in very very small enclosures barely bigger than the speaker so although they can get loud they sound horrible, zero bass & mids in music, Sonim & Kyocera made many phones with stereo front speakers, the speakers are much bigger than standard phone speakers and they aren't in enclosures, they use the inside of phone as the enclosure, they are just as loud as these single big speaker phones but have more bass and are stereo, my Sonim XP8 with PowerAmp music app EQ adjusted the way I like sounds better than most bluetooth speakers, All I'm saying is get rid of enclosure and that bigger speaker could sound so much better or just do what Sonim & Kyocera (and others) have done for years, loud means nothing if it sounds like sh-t, I had the AGM H5 Pro that supposedly had upgraded speaker after the Glory series of phones had an even worse sounding one, I loved the look & feel of the H5 but the fact that speaker sounded so so bad I immediatly sold it at a loss and just keep using my xp8, every phone with a big rear speaker has bad reviews on how music sounds, like I said - bigger louder means nothing if it sounds like sh-t !!!
