Cute video explains the essence of Tizen
The Tizen OS is still very much in its infancy, but in its short 3 year lifespan it has come a long way and shows great promise. Now, you might not think much of the platform and that is perfectly understandable, considering its limited spread and immaturity when compared to the big boys, but Tizen is growing at an impressive rate and with Samsung and Intel backing it, it might very well be the next big OS to fuel the industry.
It is worth noting that Tizen already muscled out BB OS and is now proudly the fourth most popular smartphone OS. If that doesn’t sound convincing enough, then this next charming video by TizenExperts might just do the trick. It sets out to explain the essence of Tizen, how it became to be, its core ideals, existing and potential uses and future plans.
The clip itself is meant as a calling card of sorts, but it still shares quite a bit of insight on how Tizen works and what it does. Don't expect any technical details, but you might just get the initial orientation that you need.
As already mentioned, Tizen already has powerful support and not just from a corporate standpoint, both the Linux Foundation and the dedicated Tizen Association are tasked with evolving the OS. Tizen is powering Smartphones, wearables and smart TVs and the future holds even more potential uses. Thanks to its lightweight nature, the platform can actually play a big role in the advancement of IoT, among other things.

Actually there are lots of OSes out there for controlling everything in home and making robots. Like "Windows 10 IoT", "Raspberry OS", "Arduino", etc. You just need a board like "Raspberry Pi" or "Arduino" or "Intel Galileo".

What Tizen wants to achieve, Android already has achieved. Nothing new.
