Cyanogenmod 14 nightlies now available for the multiple devices including OnePlus One and Nexus 6

Among our favorite things that the Android platform has to offer, the community is a huge part of the openness of Android hardware and software. Granted, things with OEMs and unlocked bootloaders have taken a turn in the past few years as the concern for privacy and protecting data has OEMs with a tighter grip on bootloaders for newer devices.

Now back to what’s actually going on. Cyagonmod has posted support for a slew of new devices. These devices are officially supported by the mod community for the continual improvement of an Android Nougat build with some aftermarket tweaks:

All the builds are now available except for the Nook Tablet. It’s not up yet but it will be coming soon.

We only suggest you delve into installing the aftermarket ROM if you know what you are getting yourself into, as there is always a risk of bricking your device.

I was really happy for this news, but turned out that the zip file for Shamu was a broken zip. Today CM pulled the zip file from their website for Shamu! I hope they make another release tomorrow!
