Deal: Pixel 2 and 2 XL are £50 off in the UK and come with a free Google Home Mini

Google is feeling generous in the UK as the holidays are getting closer. Thus, the company is offering you £50 off the recommended retail price for both the Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL. To top that off, you will also receive a promo code that will net you a Google Home Mini for free - since you probably need more of the Google Assistant in your life.

Both of these promos are to be had at the Google store. The £50 discount on the phones will be available until December 16, while for the free Home Mini you can order a Pixel 2 or 2 XL until the end of the year. You then have until February 28 next year to redeem the smart speaker. Since the Home Mini is priced at £34, overall you're getting a £84 price reduction on this bundle, which is not bad at all. Note that the 'panda' black and white color version of the Pixel 2 XL even seems to be in stock at the moment - it turns out, miracles do happen after all.

If the smallest Google Home just isn't enticing enough for you, maybe the deal EE has cooked up is more interesting. The operator doesn't offer any kind of price cut on the Pixels, but if you do purchase one of the new generation models on contract, you'll get a free full-size Google Home. There's no telling how long this promo will last, though, so if you're into it then go do the deed as soon as you can.
