Deal: The LG V30 is down to £700 at CarphoneWarehouse

Ivan, 28 December 2017

The LG V30 is still fresh on European shelves but it's already seeing its first discount - in this case a 12% drop in price at CarphoneWarehouse in the UK.

Originally a £795 prospect in both Silver and Blue, the 64GB LG V30 is now down to £700. Other retailers in the UK offer the V30 as well, but their price is harder to swallow.

The V30 is in stock and available for next day delivery and there doesn't appear to be a timer on the new price.

Mind you, at £700 the LG V30 is still rather expensive but so are its competitors such as the Pixel 2 XL, Galaxy S8+ or iPhone 8 Plus.

CarephoneWarehouse has an ongoing sale with discounts on other phones and gadgets, too. At first glance, a few notable highlights include the Moto X4 (reduced to £250), and the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL (£100 off each), but you can always dig deeper.

I'd still buy it over a S8+, Pixel XL or Mate 10
