Peter, 28 January 2024

Last week marked the international debut of the Redmi Note 13 series and are now available in Germany.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ flexes a 200MP main camera (1/1.4” sensor) with OIS and a basic 8MP ultra wide. It has a 6.67” 1220p display, a 120Hz AMOLED panel with 12-bit colors and Dolby Vision. The phone is powered by the Dimensity 7200 Ultra and a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging (wired only). Amazon paired it with a free Redmi Watch 4.

The 4G version of the Redmi Note 13 is powered by the Helio G99 and has the same 200MP main camera (1/1.4”, OIS), though due to chipset limitations it loses 4K video recording. The battery on this one is 5,000mAh again with 67W charging.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 (both 5G phones) are available as well, though right now there are no discounts for them.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is now shipping, but it has maintained its pre-order bonus of a free storage upgrade. Trade-in deals in Europe aren’t as good as they are in the US, but Amazon sweetens the pot with €100 exchange bonus when trading in an old phone – this goes up to €150 if you’re getting the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The Nothing Ear (2) are a comfortable pair of TWS buds with multi-point connectivity and good overall audio quality. Battery life and ANC could have been better, but the transparent design stands out and is a perfect match for Nothing phone owners.
