Death Stranding: Director’s Cut now available on iOS, iPadOS and macOS
Death Stranding: Director’s Cut is a video game by Hideo Kojima about a courier tasked with delivering supplies in a desolate post-apocalyptic world.
The eerily beautiful game has been available on PlayStation and PC for some time, and starting today, it is also available for devices with Apple silicon - iPhones, iPads, and Macs.
The Director’s Cut version was announced for Apple devices back at WWDC 2023 and was demoed on an iPhone 15 Pro during the phone’s launch in September.
Now, it can be played on an iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad with M1 or later (that’s the 2021 Pro duo, 2022 Pro duo, and 2022 Air), and Macs running any of the Apple M-series chips.
Death Stranding: Director's Cut on iPhone
Death Stranding Director’s Cut is currently available at the App Store for a promotional price of $19.99 instead of $39.99. This is a solid deal because it is a universal purchase, allowing you to download the game on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, and it supports cross-device progress syncing.

So (only the latest) iPhones and Macs get one AAA game? Woo? Meanwhile, Windows and Linux can run the vast majority of AAA games, plus countless indie games as well. Even Androids can access a vast game library through emulation.
