Hey All, I just bought the Dell Streak (Ver 2.2). Its great. the functions are purely smooth. However i am not able to play movies in this phone. Tried every option however dont know the iisue. Please help.

You'll need to go to xda forum and go to dell streak section and just read through the threads there.. u'll need to learn how to root 1st then fastboot, get clockworkmod, then flash with streakdroid and 720p fix and other speed mods

hai friends,i bought the streak one month back.it works amazing.after i upgrade to 2.2 version,i used to download 10 to 15 google free applicatoins daily from android market.not only games,it has entertainment,stocks,finance and more.this is very useful to businessmen,proffessionals,comics,lifestyle,shopping,news and more.,just enjoy the features of streak..

Ive had my streak over a month now and ive got it with froyo.. The only problem as explained by @eddie is the 3.5mm jack is in a stupid position.. I will be upgrading it to dj_steve's streak droid tonight to have 720p fixed and will be able to oc it to 1.3ghz.. Also ext2 for better I/O with a 2gig cache... All users should google "streakdroid dj steve" it will be worth it, trust me

I purchased this product 15 days ago, Android 2.1, and now I've upgraded to 2.2 via OTA. I come from purchases of terminals HTC, not least the Desire HD, which I consider a great smartphone, but I dare say that this can 'beat this standard. It always depends on what a person wants. The processor runs more 'rapidly to equal' frequency and without overclocking. The fluidity of surfing is better and also the response using the mobile network connection, and as' very good (I TIM). For the rest everything normal for Android, applications, and great good choice, perfect navigator (that is Copilot Sygic Aura) Portable audio / video quality '(I use mixzing). The phone function, and 'almost an optional extra, but it behaves very well. For those who want to purchase this tabletphone (as I call it) I suggest you forget the pockets such as custody and always use a headset to avoid being cramped in the arm after 20 minutes of call.

I Have The 16GB on o2 Running 1.6 in Black, " things wrong with it only!! Headphone Socket Should Be On TOp Of Unit, As It's Kinda Akward Listening To Music As It Keeps Catching on Things, And 2nd, Needs To Upgrade Locked o2 Units To 2.2 FroYo, As 1.6 LAggy And Indecisive. all in all i think it is a exellent phone, but really does need iphone apps :/
