I updated my DVP to mango beta update today,while the mango end user update for all will be coming between nov to dec,the phone has some good updates i found was;
1.After Pressing the Shutdown button on the top one has to slide the screen saver up to shutdown the phone.
2.Micosoft Office has new sub-catagories;
sharePoint,Phone,Office365,Skydrive.
3.One can Instal Unlimited Games/Applications,where as games in NODO update was limited.
4.Messaging has a features called "Threads" where all the msg.from same user are integrated.and one does not need to detele it one by one,just select the thread and delete it.
5.Messaging has a extra feature Online friends,which shows ur friends at facebook and u can chat with them in massinging
6.In internet explorer u can play flash websites with flash applications
7.U can link multiple email accounts to one linked inbox which shows all inboxes at one place.
8.Msg.by speaking to the phone and it converts ur speach to text.
9.If u r using handsfree and get a msg its converted to speach and u hear the msg(only oh handsfree)
10.In search options u have some realy cool fucntions like converting a non english language to other language by taking a pic. of the text. and may more usefull and cool functions r available.

The Zune Market place is reserved only at USA,UK and some EU Countries till now but they are planing to cover some asian countries when they release windows 8,so those of u not getting the market place in zune oftware is due to:u might be having a live,hotmail account whose address is of India which u can't change after the account is created need to make a new account with country at USA or if u have account at USA then u may have selected location of ur computer at india Change it to USA u will be able to connect to market place

The Mango Update is Not released yet for the end users but Windows phone application developers can update their WP7 with the Mango pre released Beta update,Doesnot matter if it's a locked or unlocked WP7, u can still update it to mango,i have a Dell Venue pro got it from Moscow updated it at India two days back with Mango Beta relaese,Its working great.

Now one more thing, can I still update my DVP to the latest MANGO update if I do buy an unlocked DVP frm the US and use it in India? If yes, how do I update my DVP if Ive already started using it? And how abt the Apps? Can I download legally frm the MarketPlace if the cellphone is unlocked ( US DELL STORE ) back in India? Lastly, how good is the phone, the OS? Im using a Blacberry past 5 years, soo do you think its a wise choice to try out the Windows OS??

I cannot access the market place in India and hence dont have access to any apps. Can someone please help how to get this done or throw some light when its expected?

Can I used a unlocked Dell Venue Pro purchased from US, back in India? Im plannin to get one from there as my sister resides there. The Unlocked DVP from the dell store in US is arnd 249$. Will it work back here?

I got Dell Venue Pro few days back. Was impressed by the ease of use and touch response. The vertical QWERTY keyboard and AMOLED screen are its few plus over other WP7 available. Initially was pissed off due to unavailability of Marketplace in India, but later I was able to get Marketplace on my Zune by editing few registry items. And that opened the access to the sea of some very good apps and games available. Marketplace didn't work on Phone though. That was until I hacked it to install latest Mango. I am running WP7.10 (7710). Mango has made-up for everything this phone was missing. I can install apps and games from my Phone, I have custom ringtones. I love the one-inbox for multiple accounts and threaded conversations. One more great thing, I got native Twitter and LinkedIn support right in my PeopleHub.
Apart from software part, the phone doesn't lag in Hardware section too. Yeah its a bit too heavy, but the built is solid also keyboard slider seems stable, screen looks better than other counterparts. Camera is ok, but good part is its video capturing quality. All in all, its a great phone to have.

Oh SO GOOD, I've been searching for phone with design like this, touchscreen n portrait slide, because i dont like with those of Torch, the flexibel was worse

The Sequel to DVP is going to be out soon.
DVP MLK or Dell Wrigley.
I hope they are going to increase the battery and add a front facing camera, and if can release an andriod version nothing like it :)
anybody knows any inside scoop about Dell Wrigley
