actually the one with 2.1 comes with 256 mb ram( gen 1 model)
and the one with 2.2 comes with 512 mb ram ( gen 2 model)
all the new stock comes with 2.2 but the resellers with old stock still have the phones with 2.1 so 256 mb ram.

i recently purchased a dell xcd35...
its a good phone
but the problem i am facing is of internal memory
it sucks
very low
cannot install big apps
any suggestion to fix it?

ive just purchased the xcd35 and i must say its better than i expected it to be...........clearity on the screen is awesome and there is no lag while playing games such as angry birds,nfs shift, etc.
There is no heating issue ABOVE NORMAL in this phone...........overall i think this phone is a best buy........go for it!
