DIZO Watch D Pro is launching on January 9 with custom D1 chipset

DIZO - the first brand under Realme's TechLife ecosystem - today announced it will launch the DIZO Watch D Pro in India on January 9 at noon local time.

The company posted a couple of the Watch D Pro's pictures on Twitter, revealing its design and color options.

DIZO is yet to detail the DIZO Watch D Pro's specs sheet, but the company revealed some of the watch's features through a press note and it has one very interesting bit.

The DIZO Watch D Pro will pack a 1.85" screen with 60Hz refresh rate and 600 nits of peak brightness. It will be powered by the DIZO D1 chipset and run DIZO OS out of the box.

DIZO said the Watch D Pro will have 4x bigger RAM than "ordinary smartwatches that have 600KB RAM" (do the math) and come with heart rate monitoring and blood oxygen level measurement. It will also support single chipset calling.

The DIZO OS on the Watch D Pro will offer "brand-new and powerful features that truly make it a pro," including:

  • Art Filter for watch face customization, and an option to change/ re-arrange all the 5 preset watch faces, which is very rare in the category.
  • Detailed weather with wind speed, humidity and UV Index and weather of the next 3 hours.
  • Smart Do Not Disturb mode, automatically turns on when you are asleep.
  • Camera Control with shutter countdown.

The DIZO Watch D Pro will be sold in India through Flipkart and select retail stores. More details about its specs, price, and availability will be revealed on Monday.
