I own this phone & paid around $500 with tax. I had bought this phone for a few reasons but the main reason being the 4K video, and the 48MP camera neither of which I am impressed with. Sadly the first one I received was a factory screw up & every time I would try to use the 4K video recording, and the 48MP it would crash giving an error message. I contacted Doogee & they were nice enough to replace it, but to be totally honest the cameras are not the best feature of this phone. When water touches this phone if you are recording it acts as if you are touching the screen & stops the video, same with pictures. Yes its water proof, but not the best for taking pictures of videos under water. If you want this phone for its solid build, then its a good buy. It also plays Pokemon Go well & doesn't loose battery no where near as much as other phones.
So far the best phone I have owned for quality of camera was the ZTE Blade Z Max Z982. It had a great camera for close ups & the pictures were nice & clear. The Doogee S96 GT does not have a good quality camera. I am very disappointed in the cameras on this phone.
All the other features of this phone other then the charger port is great. Finding a wireless charger that works with this phone is next to impossible because of how thick it is & the metal casing that can not be removed.

Poor build quality with regards charging, issues with failure. Not a flagship phone. If the build quality was better, great phone

Solid update with some flaws. A 7000mah battery and better screen would be amazing in this phone. I also think that they lost the chance to use Helio G99 and use this as market thing. Ulefone just worked fast and announced a new phone using G99.
