Overall great phone, and durable for sure. I chose this model because it had both IR and thermal camera. I even dropped it to the sea and it really survived. and then I even tried an underwater photography, it was cool. However, after few tries of very brief underwater experience, fingerprint reader is broken. Like, even the fingerprint options are gone in the settings.

Purchased the 98 Pro in December 2022.My second Doogee ,after owning the 96 Pro.
The 96 pro shattered two screens in 6 months.
98 Pro
The Good-Thermal imaging camera+Night vision camera, both excellent.
The Bad-Call quality not great.
The Ugly-Phone network continually dropping out.Changed sim card and sim tray.But still spending most of the day,offline.
After 6 months ,ive given up..Will keep as toy when i go camping.

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2022Good luck if anything goes wrong. they have spent weeks mes... moreIt's a shame that happened.Me and my wife both bought the Blackview 9500 Pro Rugged Phone going on 5yrs now without any problems.This phone is similar to ours just the camera,cpu,gpu and OS is updated.We are still on Android 8.1 without missing anything really.All I can say is depends on where one buys from.We are updating our phones now I'm still getting a rugged phone she went with the S22 plus.We're buying them from Aliexpress.I'll send the best positive healing thoughts and prayers your way.

Good luck if anything goes wrong. they have spent weeks messing me about, before telling me that i have to pay freight to China, all duties, and also pay for a replacement screen. The phone was not dropped or damaged, it just went crazy and died. I suggest you find an alternative phone as this lot are not to be trusted
