              Retsihw, 29 Dec 2023 Just bought one during the aliexpress flash sale. got it ... moreAlright so after using the phone as a daily driver for a couple weeks, I have some positives and negatives.

              positives:
              - large battery means you can go 3-5 days of use without charging
              - screen is smooth and clear
              - ruggedness is very apparent and survived being dropped and washed like a dish
              - fingerprint reader is fast and on the power button.
              - 5g connectivity has NEVER dropped in my use


              Negatives:
              - cameras are clear but can sometimes take a bit longer than i'd like to focus
              - camera bump has me worried about the drop tests sometimes, it has held up so far though.
              - default quickstep launcher is a bit basic and clunky. I recommend using something like Nova 7
              - google voice and google messaging are the default communication apps, no anonymous 3rd party messaging app preinstalled
              - phone is a brick and is quite heavy if you are using it for more than 7 minutes at a time.
              - lack of thermal camera compared to the v20 pro is a little disappointing but the night vision works well enough to compensate.

              I'll update if i find any other things to list! I hope to grab the v31t eventually to compare it to.


                Just bought one during the aliexpress flash sale. got it for 280usd with free shipping around mid december and will reply with impressions and a short review. This is my first rugged phone and first china brand phone in the last 5 years. i know many others are curious about rugged phones these days too with the rising prices of larger brands. The specs for this phone seem almost too good to be true so i will see if it really is worth the money

                  IPS display is essential for a true rugged phone. Amoled is too delicate

                            the screen is a downgrade compared to v20 pro. the specs got my attention but until i see V notch.. instant turn off. i bet it wouldn't last more than 3 years. spare parts would be remained scarce

                                    Rugged phones are getting more and more powerful, but unfortunately their availability is still limited.

                                    Good amount of RAM, internal storage, battery, decent chipset, all kind of certifications... It's a phone to last 5 years or more if you take care.
