I bought my Doogee V30T over a year ago now. Down through the years, I've bought a lot of phones. This one isn't perfect. It has both pros and cons. The pros are in the specs: Lots of RAM memory (12GB), lots of storage (256GB), an 8 core processor that (upon the phones release) was fairly impressive (Dimension 1080, I believe), a nice camera, a fat battery (as it SHOULD be. I'm not so delicate that I can't lift a few extra ounces), fast charging, latest wifi and Bluetooth, etc etc.. I also (personally) liked the fact that:

1. Compared to other phones, this one is rugged. I've dropped it probably 3 times since I've bought it, and rather than panic as it hits the ground, I get a twisted sense of satisfaction because (unless it lands face down on a peggle, dead center of the glass), it's going to survive the fall. I know other phone owners go through the same thing (Only theirs didn't survive Muahahaha. Pretentious [censored]s). That's part of the reason I BOUGHT this phone, so that I don't have to buy ANOTHER phone every time I drop it.

2. The phone was stripped of all its bloatware. That means no annoying ads or uninstallable apps (WOOHOO! FINALLY!). Yeah, it's vanilla Android, and you might have to add a couple of apps to get it customized more or less like you want, but SO WHAT? Do you want to BUY a bunch of uninstallable CRAP with ADS, or do you want to go to the Playstore and get that photo gallery app and that sound EQ app that you want (or whatever). The day I paid several hundred dollars for a Samsung phone and (out of the box) started getting POP UP ADS, was the day I stopped using Samsung mobiles (as I drop it on the ground and say oops).

So there's a lot this phone does for me that other phones cannot, but, as I said, there's also some cons. It's not as if the Doogee brand doesn't want to sell you phones. In fact, just the opposite, BUT, they're also trying to appeal to the largest percentage of the population possible, and THAT means offering the phone at a price that is affordable. I'm sorry, but the simple fact is that 90% of us don't have $1000 or more to blow on a phone, ok? So Doogee does the BEST they can for a little over HALF of that, and THAT means that they have to cut corners. I UNDERSTAND this, but that doesn't make the cons any less annoying, and those are:

1. Buggy phone, with some kind of weird memory leak or something. Basically, if you don't Restart (reboot), or shut down and power back on every day, the phone starts doing random, weird shiz, which gets progressively worse until (after three or four days), it's unusable, until it's reset.

2. The fingerprint sensor is "in the way" a lot of the times. It reacts when it should just sense fingerprints -- That's it's only job. An example is when I try to take screenshots on YouTube, and it brings up the scrub menu system (forward, backwards, pause). I DON'T want that. It's annoying. The workaround is to use the provided software to record and take screenshots, and not touch the fingerprint button while watching YouTube.

3. The third (left hand) button starts as a (quick) camera button (I think. I can't remember), but it's usually just in the way, and ends up being a nuisance. This can be shut off in the "settings" menu system of Android, but really should be turned off by default (in my honest opinion).

4. There's a "feature" of the phone which allows you to substitute some of it's internal memory as RAM (like a swap file does in Windows). It's basically a gimmick, and wasn't even well played. In fact, it was so poorly implemented that it did far more harm than good, and is likely the source of the memory leaks and errors. My advice (if you acquire one of these phones) is to shut it off and not use it.

Anyway, after initially adjusting the settings for the extra button (half hour), you just have to reset the phone every day, and learning to avoid the FEATURE PACKED fingerprint sensor (ugh), and you've got a rather capable mobile phone.

Would I buy it again? Ehhhhhhhh, lol, maybe, maybe not. Were it not for the FINGERPRINT SENSOR, I could live with the rest of it (for the price), but that is SUPER annoying (forever), and there's no way to escape it. I may seek out other avenues next time, but it's ALMOST worth it, is all I can say.

Fotis, 24 Apr 2024I have had my V30T for exactly 11 months and 3 weeks , I ha... moreI've had mine for ten months and I have *never* been so disappointed and angry with a phone. I usually replace every two to three years, but I've just ordered the next phone. And it isn't a Doogee.
1 - Pointless button on the left hand side - can't set it to anything because it's so easily pressed by accident.
2 - Inbound calls drop at exactly 2m5s 50% of the time.
    3 - Fingerprint reader temperamental.
4 - Fingerprint reader active during a call, so keep getting buzzes if my fingers go anywhere near it.
5 - Screen scrolling/zooming all over the place - scroll a bit and it continues scrolling to the bottom of the page, zoom a bit and it zooms to the maximum - but only some of the time and you never know when it's going to be.
6 - Auto screen brightness takes 5 seconds to adjust when you pull the phone out of your pocket. And then sometimes it doesn't adjust at all and you have to try to work out where the manual slider is to do it by hand. Ended up disabling the auto brightness and leaving it on max brightness all the time.

The feature on this phone I'm going to miss is the huge battery.

I have had my V30T for exactly 11 months and 3 weeks , I have had minor issues from day 1 like the fingerprint sensor working when it wants to , the sound being awful(switching to MONO helped) , SD card not being read constantly and having to restart phone for it to read and now the proximity sensor is not working. Doogee wants me to pay to mail the phone to China and be without a phone at all for it to be looked at and possibly repaired , the cost of shipping and insurance(at about 70 bucks or more) wouldn't be worth it considering something else will more than likely go out and the updates for this phone are probably over. For the price of this product being 450 when I purchased it I would say its not worth it at all.

Stupid phone. I bought doogee v30t from doogee website and accidently dropped it one time and shattered my screen. Then tried to contact customer service they ignored me. Worse part is that doogee remove my doogee account. My purchase history all gone its like they want me gone. Worse brand ever.

Good device, wireless charging works fine.

                      problems:
                      No call recording
No update to android 13 yet
Microsd card is formatted to fat32 so you can't store a file larger than 4GB there (internal memory is exfat-formatted so no problem there)
