"Dystopia: Contest of Heroes" is launching on the Huawei AppGallery first
Beetroot Lab has partnered with Huawei for the launch of its latest game, Dystopia: Contest of Heroes, which will be available first on the Huawei AppGallery.
The game is set in the year 2065 and centers around fully customisable heroes that battle for control of districts of a dystopian New York, conduct raids on other players and build alliances.
The face of the game is none other than former UFC champ Conor McGregor, who will host an annual tournament. That will be the yearly culmination of in-game tournaments that challenges players from around the world.
Huawei will bolster the game launch by putting its marketing muscle behind it. It already helped Beetroot Labs to integrate Huawei Mobile Services features such as Account Kit (for quick sign-ins) and In-App Purchases Kit.
Note that this is a timed exclusivity – Dystopia can be be downloaded from the AppGallery right now, but it’s also coming to the Google Play Store on the 25th. The game will be available on the Samsung Galaxy Store and Apple App Store later on. The game launched in several test markets to gauge its appeal to the audience, so some have already tried it out.
