Probably fake battery capacity. The phone is only 17% heavier than Oukitel WP15 despite having 80% bigger battery. Battery technology hasn't improved much, if it all, in the past few years. If this phone was really 28000mAh, it would need to weight at least 800g, not 570g.
There's a recent trend of phones having fake battery capacities. My Oukitel WP15 (15600mAh) still lasts me longer on a full charge than larger battery phones like Unihertz Tank (22000mAh) or Unihertz Tank 3 (23800mAh). Yes, I do have all my phones unbloated and optimized for energy saving.

Compared to the Oukitel WP33 Pro this has extra 6000 mAh but weighs less, same thickness though.

Awful generic phone. Ulefone, Oukitel, Doogee and Blackview, even Umidigi offer better rugged phones.

Anonymous, 07 Feb 2024imagine it has 15W chargerWell, it ended up being 33W, not a lot better.

probably only a prototype phone like the previous p18k to show who has the BATTERY

Jokes aside I'd be happy to put up with a lot if I could legitimately use this thing as a powerbank (imagine charging a laptop with this thing) and it included the kitchen sink.

...Come to think of it what I'm really after is for somebody to make a proper tool phone with modern high end specs. Probably won't ever happen but would buy one.

I can really see the potential in this especially for ppl going of grid and you don't have to carry an extra powerbank for the phone, My stepdad has a Ulephone Power armor 24 with a 22k mAh battery just because of the battery capacity and some other few fun features that he likes and the phone is heavy with its ~650grams , The thing that makes its awesome is that you dont have to charge the phone in like a week even if you use it for hours surfing/day and it has amazing reception even in places where most ppl has no reception and in our off-grid cabin it's an really good phone to have.

I think it should work with those cyclist apps in Android, marketing this phone as phone+GPS+bike computer, and it battery last for days for cyclist.

If it's only a teaser then it's better not to released that phone (Just like what they did in 2019 model)

DarlingYext, 07 Feb 202428000 mAh huh.. the last time Energizer has tried something... moreWell it shouldnt be that bad.

I can't believe they managed to include a phone feature on a power bank.
