Entry-level Samsung Galaxy J2 2017 Edition debuts with quad-core CPU, 4.7-inch display
Samsung has made official a new entry-level smartphone. Dubbed Galaxy J2 2017 Edition, the device is powered by an SoC with quad-core, 1.3GHz processor, and sports a 4.7-inch display. RAM is 1GB, while internal memory is 8GB.
The handset features a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front shooter. It packs in a 2,000mAh battery, and features dual-SIM support, 4G, as well as Ultra Data Saving Mode. Available color options include black and gold. India is the first market to get the phone - price tag is said to be INR 7,390 (around $113).
Meanwhile, the Galaxy C9 Pro has received a price cut in the country, bringing its price down from INR 31,900 to INR 29,900, which currently translates into around $460.
