Hey there..i wanted to know something about the alarm...i just bought the phone, and tried the alarm, but it just rings or gives a beep ONCE!!!
how can i change that and make it louder..???
could i make the alarm the sound of an mp3 song that have on my mob...?
the alarm is very imp to me, and if therez nothing that could be done, then it was a prob a idea buying it in the first place!!!

Guys,
I bought my M700 6 months ago, My phone simply does not starts up. I recharged the battery a lot of times, I did a hard reset, it worked for two minutes (it started installed somehting and showed the main screen... and they it died...any idea if this is a problem with the phone or with the battery?????

This phone sucks balls!! the battery life is like 2 seconds. I can barely hear anything when i talk to someone. I have to turn on speaker phone and yet still its like talking on a normal phone. Dont get me started on the ring tones. Dont waste your money stick to a HTC TYTN 2 or BlackBerry Pearl you will be soo much happier

This phone's built quality is really poor. the vibration is so strong that it scares me every single time. It does have a lot of features but i would not recommend this phone to anyone using it for more than just playing about. The battery life is really poor - having only the phone in standby i have to plug the phone in overnight, otherwise it dies during the night. so 200 h standby is just false advertising by ETEN. Even the extended battery gives you barely two days of standby. The phone jack WILL break in year's time just like 90% of people's who use the headphones/handsfree, then you won't be able to use the phone without the handsfree. Warranty service pretty much does not exist in the UK - service centre in Germany... Just check the forums on ETEN M700 and you will see.

Bought my M700 3 months after it came out and let me tell you. nothing but problems.
after being on for 3 day it starts to lag and hang. Try to do a soft reset and it just freezes. Had to remove battery to restart the phone. then it worked ok for another 3 days then same problems happen again.
That was the first problem. Second was the camera took ugly pictures at the full 2mp it had lines in the picture when viewing it on your computer.
other small problems was ear piece volume was not loud enough. battery was ok for me I use car charger if I needed it.
can't seem to remember anything else at this moment.
Gps was ok with tomtom.
wifi was ok, data side was ok too.
Phone is on the light side to me my HTC TnTy II is heavier which I don't mind.
I am sure there is ways to make it better and run smoother But I just got to frustrated and gave up after sending it back in for repair it came back the same. I did the WM6 upgrade but still same lagging and hanging problems.

forum for help and its a good forum.
If anyone is interested in buying the m700 you might want to read through the M700 section of the forum first..

Hi,
I used this one sience 3 months.It is a good generally, but it has 5 big problems.
1) it has an echo in the talking sound.
2) its size is very big.
3) its battery does not take long time.
4) its screen is not bright.(you can n't see it in the sun)
5) its external sound is not a loud.
and some small problems.

guyz now its been 6 months since i used eten m700......it used to hang alot but now i figured out that it was my mistake......i installed some corrput applications......this cell rox without any doubt!!!!

Don´t buy this phone. Freezes a lot, the battery ends really fast (2 days at best, without using any application). The tech support is unreachable. Tried to contact them for about 2 weeks about a problem in the WM6 upgrade with no luck so far.

Bought unlocked M700 coz one of my friend has it...paid over $600 with accessories....phone got locked after a month and i literally had to beg and call 10 million places to get my phone fix...finally i am sending it in for repair...and yes i will be charged shipping/customs charges (even after paying over $500) for the phone...good luck...phone is like a beautiful girl...looks nice but once you have it in your life then *&^(*&^&^%

My M700 works perfect, you known why because I update to last version of ROM and WM6.
- There are the pack which make the phone speaker louder
- Improve the quality of the camera
- Reduce the crash
- Improve the performance of phone

don't buy this phone if you live in the middle east and want integrated arabic. the phone randomly switches b/w arabic and enlglish whilst you type messages. there's like a million other bugs that i can't rememebrs because i got rid of this piece of junk months ago. do yourself a favor and sell this POS, you owe it to yourselves to buy a decent pocket pc.

the m700 is full of bugs, crashes, settings change all the time, nice in theory, horrible in reality

:) @ Foxtrot, m8 trust me I’m using pda’s for looong time and this is my Vorst gadget if I have to compare this is 5 out of 10, start with camera , the battery, the sound when making phone calls its slowww crashesh all the times ….. jast ask and reed the anthers forums… plus at my work we had more than 20 and we swap them for hp’s….
