your provider doesnt need to know that you have GPS on your phone they have nothing to d with it because you have the chip that contactsd the satellite. But you do have to purchase a navigation system and maps. I Have Navigon 5 and works great.

Hello Every,
I'm from the US and am serviced with Tmobile. So I hear the GPS is great, but my friend told me that your phone service provider has to be able to support gps technology. Is this true?? or can I get GPS regardless?

I have one M700 GLOFIISH & it`s great.
I have WM6 on it , it`s work great, it`s verry good.
I use it for Game Developement ... I develop a game for PEPSI ROMANIA ... a flash game ...
The phone is veri good !!!

to upgrade to window mobile 6 just go to eten website and click on upgrade to window mobile 6 than read the instruction

Anyone knows when the GPS is on, what will happen if a phone calls comes in? Will the GPS connection fails? Or the phone call got cut off? Please advise.

Hi, I am looking to get a phone and the M700 seems fit my budjet. Having read some of the comments on here it does sounds like a problem product regarding an issue with sound and PAYG sims. I also read that a later ROM release (and WM6) would resolve it. Has anyone who had an upgrade found any improvements (sound/PAYG) or is it still duff?

I bought the M700 yestrday and today i want to upgrade on wm6 and during a process it say that is not compatibile with my eten.

No way to fix it ...
But if you use itech bluetooth with radio earpiece,
the sound is very very loud.
since the phone's FM radio only works with the wired earpiece, so i suggest itech with built in FM radio, but you can use one without the radio if you don't listen to FM radio.

I purchased a Glofiish M700 from PC City in Spain two weeks ago and have now had to return it for a full refund. The main problem being that there is no possibility to change the language of the Operating System. I contacted Eten via email and received no reply. I also pointed out to them that I was using Windows Vista and that the software upgrade wasn't working they responded 2 weeks later telling me that I had to change Active Sync settings, even though I had stated that I was using Vista and therefore Windows Mobile Device Centre as opposed to Activesync.
Re the wireless LAN I also couldn't not get this to function...., it found the WLAN, connected then lost the WEP code and wouldn't connect again.

Hi,
Does anyone know how to set up the wifi connection? I was able to connect to the wireless router but it doesn't seem like it's using the wifi to download when using the Internet. Please advice.
