The information was revealed by the man himself in a tweet, where he termed Twitter's new 'Moments' feature as innovation, and praised Dorsey's re-appointment as the company's new CEO. "Good job @twitter, @twittermoments innovation, @jack Ceo, leaner, more focused," the tweet read. "Glad I bought 4% past few months."
Twitter's current market value stands at $21 billion, meaning Ballmer's stake is worth around $800 million. For those who aren't aware, according to Forbes, Ballmer is the world's 35th richest man with a net worth of $21.5 billion.
This comes just days after Twitter announced that it will cut up to 336 jobs, which is around 8% of the company's total workforce.
