Enrique, 02 June, 2016

“One Emoji Standard for the Messenger World” – Facebook Messenger has announced on the official Messenger Facebook account that it is going to roll out a new and vast selection of diversified emojis that users of any platform can enjoy, even if they don’t have the newest software with updated emojis that iPhone users saw first.

Facebook also mentioned it was going to unify the way emojis are displayed on Facebook Messenger by displaying emojis the exact same way across Android, iOS, and other platforms. “No more broken-looking black boxes or emojis that just don’t make sense. Our characters are consistent every time you use them, no matter what platform the recipient is on.”

Messenger will bring over 1,500 newly designed emojis including, gender agnostic options, multi colored emojis, and more variety of male and female emojis. You will also be able to choose your skin color and keep the preference across all emojis.
