First batch of Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime sold out in 8 minutes

Xiaomi has revealed that the Redmi 3S Prime, which went on its first sale in India earlier this week, was sold out in 8 minutes. The revelation was made by none other than the Chinese company's India head Manu Jain.

"We did a launch sale without registration for the first time ever, as we were confident that we had a significant volume with more than 90,000 units," he said. "However, I am extremely humbled and at the same time stumped by the incredible response we have got for Redmi 3S Prime."

Jain also revealed that the next sale for the Redmi 3S Prime is scheduled for August 17. The Redmi 3S will also go on its first sale in India the same day.
