First China-loving HTC-branded mobile phones released today

HTC has just announced its partnership with China Mobile but that isn't the only news on the company. As of today HTC starts shipping the first HTC-branded devices across China. Up until now its products have been wearing the Dopod brand.

According to the Taiwanese company, its name is already known enough in China to make it start selling its devices under the HTC brand. The first China-loving HTC smartphones will be the HTC Wildfire (which we reviewed a few days back) and its yet unannounced sibling, the HTC Tianyi, as well as the HTC Desire and the Chinese version of HTC HD2, the HTC Tianxi. The Wildfire and the Desire will be China Unicom exclusive.

This news comes only a day after another interesting information concerning HTC, according to which the company will be replacing the AMOLED screens of some of its touch devices with S-LCD displays.

The second Chinese announcement is that HTC has signed a deal with GOME, China's largest electronics retailer, to sell their phones.
