Fossil will update all of its smartwatches to Android Wear 2.0 next month

Did you score a Fossil Q Founder for $132? If you did, you’ll be pleased to know that the company will release the Android Wear 2.0 update for all of its smartwatches in mid-March.

That’s great to hear when certain manufacturers (cough) have decided to skip on the update. Anyway, the Valentine’s day promo is over, a Gen 1 Q Founder will set you back $190 with a leather band and $205 with a steel band. The Gen 2 model is $300, same as a Gen 2 Fossil Q Wanderer or Q Marshal.

Wow, so much ignorance in one post. Smartwatches as they are now, are complementary to our active connected lifestyle. Smartphones are our main computing unit. And laptops/desktops are the niche workhorses. What you are suggesting is to...

Haha, you must be a fossil to think that smart watches are a good idea. There is simply no business model for wearables what a terrible idea. Make computers 10 times smaller and 10 times cheaper and then we'll start talking about embedded cimput...
