Full-frontal leak shows Xiaomi's next flagship
Later this month, Qualcomm is unveiling its next flagship SoC, which we've been calling Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 but that may end up being the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Then, before the month is over, Xiaomi is rumored to unveil its new flagship lineup, comprising the Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro, and Xiaomi 16 Pro Max, all powered by the new chip.
One of these three devices has just been leaked in the full-frontal image you can see below. The source, the prolific Chinese leakster who goes by Ice Universe, hasn't yet disclosed which of the three it is, but it's definitely one of them since that wallpaper is part of Xiaomi's HyperOS 3, which all of the Xiaomi 16 series should launch running.
The phone is also claimed to have the narrowest symmetrical bezels and the most curved screen corners in the history of mobile phones. It is thus going to have corners that are more rounded than even the iPhone 17 Pro's.
Those are very bold claims indeed, and it does certainly look the part. If you're confused about Xiaomi's reshuffling of its flagship line, the 16 and 16 Pro are basically the same (smaller) size, with the latter having higher-end specs, while the Pro Max is just a bigger version of the Pro. We've seen this before, of course, from both Google and Apple, and even vivo, and now Xiaomi wants some of the 'smaller-screen phone but with top specs' action too.

Replacement price depends on brand. For Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, original AMOLED curved screen with frame costs up to 40€ on Aliexpress. It is way cheaper than replacing 60Hz 720p $hit display on iPhone

I compared them visually and I agree, Pixel 7 Pro looks slightly better than 6 Pro. It is perfect design for me. Camera island is symmetrical and flat, corners are slightly rounded, screen and back are curved, which looks pretty confortable to hold. ...
