Galaxy Note edge gets Android 5.0.1 Lollipop OTA in India

Samsung has now started seeding the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note Edge (SM-915G) owners in India.

The Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note Edge has been rolling out for handful of regions like Australia since last month and it was about time it spread to India.

The update comes in a 1.04 GB file size and brings flatter design, system tweaks and better battery performance with the new Project Volta battery saving tools.

Samsung has shared no definitive list of improvements in Note Edge over Note 4. However, if you do spot anything interesting, let us know.

Recently updated to marshmallow.. after update 2 major problems existed. 1) phone suddenly restarts on its own. . Until u remove battery and put it again. . 2) battery drains very fast. Once you restart your phone 20% of baterry decreases.
