Samsung Galaxy S6 series Nougat update will begin rolling in Canada on April 10

Canadian variants of the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 edge, and S6 edge+ will start getting the Nougat update in less than two weeks from now. Specifically, carrier Telus will start rolling out the update to units on its network.

In addition to the new OS version, the update will also bring along new security patch as well as some regular bug fixes. Units on other Canadian carriers should also get the update sooner than later.

Nougat for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge started rolling out in Europe earlier this month. Recently, the S6 edge+ got the update in Turkey.
