Garmin-Asus nuvifone M20 gets Windows Mobile 6.5

11 November, 2009

The Garmin-Asus nuvifone M20 is the next smartphone to receive the Windows Mobile 6.5 magic potion. The upgrade is already available for current owners for free, while new retail devices with WinMo 6.5 will start shipping at the end of the year.

The duo Garmin-Asus announced that their first (and only) WinMo satnav-oriented smartphone - the nuvifone M20 - has received a free Windows Mobile 6.5 update. You can download it from the support page at the official product website.

New retail Garmin-Asus nuvifone M20 will come with the new OS pre-installed but that won't happen until at least a month more. Still it will pack the same navigation software and extras as before.
