Gear S2 won't be getting Samsung Pay this year

If you're a Gear S2 owner and are waiting for Samsung Pay support to arrive on your device, here is some bad news: the mobile payments service will not be available on the smartwatch this year.

The revelation was made by Samsung in a tweet, where-in the company clearly said that the service will arrive on Gear S2 in 2016, although it didn't reveal any specific time-frame.

It's worth mentioning that the South Korean company had previously said that the smartwatch will get Samsung Pay support in November. The reason behind the delay isn't yet known.
