Gemini Live with camera and screen sharing is now available to all Android users
Earlier this month, Google launched Gemini Live with camera and screen sharing, but only made it available for Pixel 9 and Galaxy S25 devices for users who are paying for the Gemini Advanced tier.
However, following "great feedback" on the feature, the search giant has now decided to make this available to all Gemini users on Android, on all phones, and including those who are using the free Gemini.
We’ve been hearing great feedback on Gemini Live with camera and screen share, so we decided to bring it to more people ✨

Starting today and over the coming weeks, we're rolling it out to *all* @Android users with the Gemini app. Enjoy!
PS If you don’t have the app yet,… https://t.co/dTsxLZLxNI
As with all Google software, this is rolling out "over the coming weeks", so don't fret if you don't see it just yet. Once it reaches you, all you need to do is open the Gemini app, tap the Gemini Live icon, and then tap the camera or screen share icon.
This will then let you have a live conversation with Gemini about whatever it is you are seeing on camera, or on your screen. Since this is part of Gemini Live, you can have a natural-feeling conversation - you can interrupt Gemini at any time, for example.
