Hi. About GPS receiver, to use Google Maps need a gprs or wi-fi connection, right? No way to get it "opened"?
But Boston has a own gps receiver?

you need a data plan or wi-fi connection to get google maps. or :
download igo maps for android and navteq maps

Hello, im from portugal and just got the same phone but here its called "optimus boston"... i know this brings a gps receiver, but it doesnt seem to work... atleast im not getting any signal or maybe im doing it wrong.
Normally i make enable my gps... and then i try to access the maps application, it says A carregar "loading" but doesnt pass that part. how can i put this to work ? thx

i bought one and i am very happy, i have samsung galaxy i7500 and this (boston) have nice quality of construction and good specs to the price (170€ here in portugal)

I have one Boston and one Iphone, comparatively they do The Same, but obviously the iphone is better in hardware. I think that if we look to quality versos price Boston will win, because it allow you to do everything you want with this type of gadget the Same way the iphone does, But is cheaper. Certainly I recommend you to try ... You Will Be very surprised.
