I am thinking about getting the Gsmarti 64mb, as it is difficult to find any i128's. I was just wondering if anyone has used a stereo bluetooth headset while watching TV, are there any problems with using both BT and TV at the same time. Also, I am getting mixed reviews on the picture quality of the camera. What do you think of the camera, compared to other phones that you have used. I currently own a Tmobile SDA, had a moto MPX220 before that.

Philippines is using NTSC M and I believe is going to work for you very well hence the TV system on the g-smart i is NTSC & PAL. Good luck

At last I managed to fix the TV program and I'm very pleased to see a DVD-like reception, sound is fantastic. It's only 3 days now that I am using this unit and even once I have not experienced yet any OS problem, or bugs problem and it works just perfect. This is really a perfect windows mobile for me. I agree that battery is draining considerably (but not that fast, for me it's ideal)that is the reason why there's spare battery. But overall I really love this phone. At the moment, I have no idea about its durability as I just got mine, but I think the same thing as the rest of the mobile phone around. The best thing we can do to last longer our unit is to take care of it, especially falling down on a hard surface. What I am exploring now is that "if possible to record the TV program while watching".

Is this unit normally comes with a TV Sytem both NTSC & PAL? I am planning to buy this unit but I'm afraid I will not be able to use its TV feature in the Philippines.
              Please let me know.

I just bought this unit yesterday here in Saudi Arabia and try to connect TV programmes but nothing is happening. Does anybody in this site who can help me tuning-in the TV? Under "Select Region" I choose Saudi Arabia but no available TV station is being searched. Please help - thanks.

I purchased the GSmart I thinking it was the 128. Long story short, I was pleased with the cell but the battery life was short. The 1300 Mah may be a better option in batteries. The main problem was that the Rom had Voice commander in it which made the cell quite dangerous. When you would ask it to phone a contact and there were several numbers for the same person, it would tell you that there are multiple numbers and you have to choose manualy. Finally got to Gigabyte and was told that this phone is not available in Canada. I bought it from a cell phone store!! They asked me to flash the rom and it did not work as i was flashing with the wrong rom. Now, the phone is frozen and will not flash and i have had to send it to Gigabyte for repairs. Wonder if this is covered by warantee.

Been a week now i have been using this phone and i can say i am still to find something bad to say about it.I practically tried everything and so far it is taking it fine.played mp3 and tried receiving call and no bugs.I also tried simultaniously mind you inputting songs to the phone while updating library and playing a song and amazingly it does not freeze nor does the song rattle while playing.Jammed the card up to 2 mbs and still nothing.Must have some 100 progs on it already.I can also put the music to play and then go and write somthing else or read an adobe file without any glitches.did not do any hard turn on or whatsoever.Jus thad to format it once though because i inputted some corrupt file that i could not completley get out but reboot was fast and now i just back up my things so if in the future something else happens like virus or something then it takes me around 30 seconds to put things back to new again. What can i say: i know a guy who bought a Nokia N91 a few days ago and thesdays he is learning new curses just to keep up with his swearing lexicon.Got five guys who are selling their N70 and collecting their doe to get this baby after seeing mine.I am actually convincing them to get some HTC orHP or something because i hate it now that other people will hve such a wonder to show off but so far no luck .For that price even they can't compete with what this offers

The difference is pratcally nothing between the i smart and 128 model if not they make the 128 in black color too which looks damn fine.I bought this communicator a month ago now and i can say i am still not sorry.i bet if this phone was made by nokia or SE then they would be charging easily 1000$ for it and people would buy it for the name but probably if they made it then it would have symbian and it would freeze and make you think why the hell you bought it if not for the name but with this baby and windows mobile it is just a pleasure to work with.By the ay at 600$ it is just a bargain for what it offers if you consider The new Sony Eric W880 or Nokia n95 are going for higher than this and offer nothing to match the Gigabyte in features and performance.Hey like the product say stop being stupid and start being SMART....GIGABYTE SMART

This phone sucks, it has a lot of great features but they aren't as good as you think so, the sound quality is really poor, i can't hear a thing and the pics it looks like i'm taking a picture with a vga camera phone, i have 1 month using it and i'm really disappointed

This phone is like any other Window based mobile. Very simple to use as you have a pen/stylus and you can scroll easily.

It has even MSN messenger so that you can use it fully on the go.

I bought this in Cyprus and the TV is great. I have just got also optional the external antenna so I can watch free all TV channel without any trouble.

The price of this is around CYP300 so around $600. It is the BEST phone that I ever got as it has literally everything. And, battery ok and signal good. What can I ask more? May be GPS & TV together!!
