I have GSmart Rey R3, I bought 32GB SanDisk Class 10 and Android didn't recognise it.
1) I read this site (I have read meny sites and this helped me), install update for GSmart Rey R3 and Android did recognise 32GB card but says "SD card is damaged, please format"
2) SD Card is functions properly on PC, I have tried chkdsk for repair it, I have tried many different formating types and allocated memory per cluster (formated on PC, then put on GSmart) and nothing helped.
3) I have got one information: cass 10 is may be not good, it has too long response for Android, better is class 3 or 4 and for some people it hepled, but I don't won't to buy new card, (everything buying 2 times - I can buy a new phone :).
May be it is possible to change response time for Android or what and may be is problem somewhere else. What is your idea?

works fine. almost everything runs smoot on it. and over a half year it's as fast as a new. but the camera is bad... it can only take good pics outside in suny condicions. the battery is good too but it turns off at 20%. but you can used to it.

I have a proble, My phone won`t connect to wi-fi, no matter what rooter i use and how close i am to it it always says: not in range. I odnt see anyone having this problem

Can you tell me now about storage. Can you tell me if you go to setting and next storage are you have only on default write disk Phone storage, or you have Phone and internal storage to choose. It will help me a lot. Thanks

Ibought this yesterday and it's awesome! But there is always but.Gigabyte storage is separated on internal and phone storage (none of them is sd card). My phone first hours have option : default write disk, and then i have to chose between phone and internal storage. I went to dinner, and when I came back, there is only phone storage to choose, but when install apps it install on internal storage. Now I can't use now for nothing phone storage. Any help?? I didn't update phone or nothing else. Will be update fix that problem???

Hi Guys! i have a problem with the audio, so it has no bass when i'm listening to music. Is there a way to correct this issue by entering in service menu in Android. Or is this a fault from the manufacturer. Thank you

Everything is great on this phone, no lag at all even when playing games like anomaly 2, nba jam, asphalt 7 etc. Sound is awesome with headphones because of the audio enhancer. Display is awesome for the price, camera with hdr is also awesome. I maxed out Inbuilt memory and also 8 gigs memory card class 10 and phone is fast as it was when empty. Phone feels great in hand because of the rubber finish back panel. Battery is ok like every other smartphone, one day with heavy usage, two days with moderate usage. with latest update phone runs even better, no errors or freezing or restart. for the price this unit is awesome.

Already two phones GSmart Rey R3 after the update does not work correctly with touch screens. On the top of touch screen appears not active part that does not respond to pressing. Before update everything worked fine.

I own Rey R3 for few days and so far i am happy. That mean, everything I try, just works. And pretty quick, zero lags or hangs. Even Wifi. Well, it is not a profi photo/video cam, of course..
Now it wants to take system update - should I let it do it??
I am affraid of getting it worse..
As for battery, well, as I know something about lions, this seems to me pretty normal. But they can simply scale the meter so that it will show zero instead of 20%, to make You happy. I just hope they will not shut phone off sooner based on this.
I miss some features that were normal to my old not-so-smart phone, e.g. samba file sharing over Wifi, just to download photos or upload music.
I need rooted phone to install that on Android, but still did not found the right howto for Rey R3 (I would appreciate a link, perhaps here is the nice place to paste?).
Well, imho, that would be nice from Gigabyte to let us root and unroot without having to search and install unknown softwarez..

hello. anyone own this phone? i have weird problem. battery wont show lower than 20%, phone works 3-4 hours when it reach those 20% and then shuts down. i've RMA it and got a new one and the new one has the same problem
