I am facing the same problem as you.After an upgrade, every application i use shows an error- stopped working. I even cannot get my phone charged, it's all stuck. I am unable to use it. After upgrading, i even did factory reset but now hwlpless. if Anyone have a solution for it, do help.

hello. After kitkat update the phone is much much more smoother. Don't forget to factory reset your phone or else the music will have a lot of disturbance while listening through earphones. Don't forget to disable the usual settings like GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, Auto location update, Sync, adjust screen brightness etc and you will get a good battery backup.

rohith, 07 Mar 2015after i updated to kitkat i get a service message very ofte... moreYeah disable gps location settings in camera... I did not realize it but found that issue when I click picture it was deducting from my sim balance
Also money get deducted first time it registers with gionee

Main issue is it doesnt catch 3G in auto mode. It prefers to catch 2G even if 3G signals available.
I went to service station for saveral times...They agreed with the issue but they dont have solution.
Prefer not to buy GEONEE product as it is chinese.

after i updated to kitkat i get a service message very often saying last sms cost was 1.5 rs.Then i get a message fromAD-GIONEE saying welcome to gionee world.I lost almost a 100 rs this way.I factory rset the phone but still the problem persists.help me please..TIA
