About the product Gionee Elife E7
This is a terrific product. Has all the features of a top end smart phone, at a convenient screen size and form factor. The size is just right for a grip but is not one hand operational.
Excellent voice quality, speakers are very good and the JDI display is just fantastic.
Spending too much time on wi-fi and games will still last u battery throughout the day. The phone also gets a little heated up with heavy games, which is not unusual. But so far, it has worked like a charm.
Battery comfortably lasts for a day with moderate use of twitter, facebook and whatsapp. Along with regular phone calls, some games. The battery very well makes it through a day, inspite of my son playing games on it the morning for 30-40 minutes.
Over all, a fantastic product.

Hi,I bought a new gionee elife e7 5 days ago After reading many positive comments from fellow users of this site itself. What I have to say was I was seriously disappointed and feels like I've been robbed.I had black 32 gb memory with 3 gb. E7 is a great phone i bought it @27k .It is good performer and will run through the day easily with big battery. Camera is awesome.
Performance is amazing
battery is very good
camera in day is awesome and in night is brilliant
screen is good
all in all great phone better than samsung s4.

Talking about this phone it comes with snapdragon 800 processor pretty speed for gaming and apps.
And this phone has 2 gigs of ram that's a pretty amount for a phone and it runs many apps without using large amount of ram even when used one gigs of ram there is still one left for gaming
I am using this phone heavily for past few weeks and the camera is in the range of iphone tools pics Pics are great and flash is great than iPhone I tested with that of my cousins iPhone 5s. It has a big Camera lens.
And speaking about this phone is the best in the what you've paid .gaming on this phone is nice and plays videos very good and pretty and I can say that this phone is awesome and excellent

Gionee E7 is a damn good device....very sturdy...good feel...
battery 2500 mah....lasts more than a day....battery endurance rating of E7 is 62 hours on automatic brightness...the best in its range...
16 mp camera is gorgeous with Largan superior lens......
Gionee packs the device with a very tough gorilla glass & free good screen guard with it...and also with the screen guard its scratch resistant...
Device is very good for multi tasking and for heavy games...
stock headphones are good too...
the front cam is also very good...

But I will like to add few things too,
1st of ALL sleek n very attractive n handy, lag free,super speed n high quality graphics... This dude is not in league wit Samsung s4 but s5......D ba3 will tak u 4a day,wich is decent 4me,its a perfect gadget wit a good Price.GIONEE HAVE DONE A GRT JOB BRINGIN DIS FONE TO LIFE BUT WE NEED U TO UPGRADE THIS SWEET FONE 2 4.4.4......TNX

This is a great camera phone and world first phone with front 8 mp and rear 16 mp omnivsion camera lens......It is a beast of a phone when comes to performance..
I can play any of the game in Google store..real racing 3,Mw3,asphalt8 all are buttery smooth with awesome graphics on 5.5 inch fhd screen...
Notice that this phone heats very less...I am not sure about how gionee manages heat dissipation of this phone

I feel it is a great 5.5 inch phablet, with a superb camera and a good battery life.
Pros:
Great camera, low light shots are even better than Samsung Galaxy Phones(I am already having Samsung Galaxy S4).
Battery life is descent.
FM is present.
Back cover looks very smooth and hard enough.
Sound quality is great.
A quadcore snapdragon processor, without any lag observed.
Still in Jelly bean, waiting for kitkat update.
Conclusion:
If you are looking for a phablet with great camera and descent battery life, you can go for it. It also works if you are a gamer and wanted to play heavy games.

Using the phone since four months. Sharing my experiences here which may help others. :)
The good:
1. Pretty good design and its size as well.
2. Camera is worth the money.
3. Display is good with proper aspect ratio. Best to view HD movies.
4. Graphics is also good as 2 GB RAM you will be able to see 900+ Mb free.
5. On call sound clarity is good and microphone.
6. External speaker is good enough.
7. Free screen guard, flip cover and 3 NFC tags..
8. Main Feature Battery, on normal usage (with WiFi on) it will last between 18-24 hours.
The Bad:
Main Problem: Phone shipped with 4.2 Android we need 4.4.
Overall good hardware, screen and design. Happy with my mobi..!

After much research..i brought Elife E7 because of all the Positive comments and reviews from the Internet and Books..Main factor is the hardwares and Super 5.5inch screen ofcourse Price too.I almost brought Htc One M8..So after been using it for a Months now..i am a very satisfying Customer..Elife E7 is Super phone in terms of Looks,Hardwares,and Screen..Battery life is Ok..not great but not bad either.Watching movies and pictures is Mindblowingly awesome..However i find the UI abit irritating.somtimes i have to tap twice or thrice the Screen to get me where i want to go..I hope this Problem is Solved with the Update to Kitkat..Camera is awesome and Sound is Great..Its a HELL of a phone.

I bought this phone three weeks back and have been using it.
I see there are lots of reviews that boasts about its Pros. I do agree with all of them.
The phone is really good in terms of performance, display and for its good battery.. As long as the phone is in standby, the battery remains same.
1.camera is just awesome for outdoor shoots
2.there is ofcoarse heating when using high end games or net for long but there is nothing like overheating.
3. NFC is very helpful
4. scratch less screen has been covered by shockproof glass which is prone to scratches. please use screen guard.
5. power manager helps
6.Display is just awesome that comes into play while watching a video or photo and the resolution (HD) is perfect for a 5.5in display.
7. the data today is ever expanding, so the 32gb memory is helpful.
Overall its a good buy and kind of different in style.. the look is elegant with a shiny kind of back panel that wont take scratches easily. optimum screen size, light weight, and sleek

Good Android Phone - in it's category
I bought Gionee E7 (it is as good as Nexus 5 – but less expensive). This does have a relatively lesser clocked processor. But this seems to be having just enough to serve my need:
So far so good. I got the delivery within 3 days - impressive as usual. :)
I have used this phone for last 2 days & here is what I find:
- Call quality is good - volume is pretty good. Other person could hear me very clearly due to noise cancellation mics.
- Emails & Calendar work nice
- Multitasking works fine (no lag noticed)
With 3G/Wifi running all day (with Skype & WhatsApp), battery lasts a complete day.
Camera wasn't my focus, neither was video/music. But they worked very well so far. Camera did very well under both low & normal lights. Videos capturing and playing is also smooth
Conclusion:
Good buy! This came for about 27K - whereas the market price is approx 28-29K (MRP: 32K).
