Gionee support replied to my mail and stated that "yes,It support to upgraded version of android." but still I haven't found any system upgrade massage. Its a very bad that all android devices are moving towards Android 6.0(Marshmallow) and still Gionee elife e7 mini not support it/ even not able to upgrade it to Lollipop version.

Best phone I ever had. So far...
I have it for 9 months now and battery is still good. no wear.
It can take JB, KK and LP. I don't know about MM because I haven't port it yet.
It's sturdy, it has a oil coating in its screen so the finger slides very well and no finger prints, I'm sure it has a scratch resistant protection although there isn't anything on the manufacture's info. It's quite fast and a true octa core. It has a Mali-450 MP4 GPU witch is nice for games that require an extra punch, and 1080p videos. No lag whatsoever. There's 25 roms on needrom.com. Pandemic is the best. 35K points on antutu v5.7.1.
What I don't like is the sound and it only has 10 out of 16GB avaliable. Also, no card slot. I mean, wtf!? No card slot? Anyway. A very cool phone for the lowest of prices. €85 in Portugal.

l was used this mobile his camera sistem very good and the mobile is nice looking.but his bettery back up is not power ful.

The glass cover of the camera can be easily scratched. I have my unit for almost 1 year now. I have replaced the camera glass already but same problem occur even if I am not placing coins in my wallet anymore. The scratch in the glass blurs the camera. I was using lenovo phone before and I placed it anywhere, even with coins in my wallet and I don't have problem with scratched camera glass.
They should use harder materials for the glass, hopefully it will be scratch proof next time.

service is very poor. gionee phones does not last long.
Worst phones do not buy. If they are not under warranty repair estimates are always 5-10000 rs.

Demerits are-
No frontflash
No update of android ( m still on jellybean )
Hangs a lot
Fast drainage of battery
Require lot of time to charge

i am using this phone and in this October 1 year completed and warranty is also over, now the phone showing problems both speakers turn down . so irritating . : (

If you have photos or files saved in your phone, move them first to your PC or laptop and then reset your phone.
After you reset, it should work fine.

I am using this phone for 5 and half month. But it has started showing problems. Every antivirus shows system certificate and music provide behaving malesiously. Now that the alarm controller has also stopped working. Evry msg pops on screen. It automatically starts downloading donno what what thing and then some thing start without my information. This is too much that even in this big city costumer services is not really good. Not able to dicide what to do. Please recommend something. And yes if gionee is reading this please provide some updates I am really bored to use this jelly bean thing. 😡😤😤

I just use this fone since 1 year and have a silly problem the Touch is not working good an back button too and i would like separate camera but no prblm the camera Axle hasbeen loosed

I am using this phone almost since 1 Year, this is an excellent phone, small and very cute. I just had speaker problem, but very good service by the company. I recommend this phone. This has every thing what that is needed in a smart phone.... though... latest is 4G, still you can use this using a 4G hot spot. Rotating camera is also advantage of 13MP camera for selfies. EXCELLENT PHONE.

Just bought this phone. I'm so in love with it.
It's like love at first sight. It works pretty fast and it has nice sound system.
For now i can't complain.

This phone is excellent. Especially for those of us who know how to tweak it.
It has ROMs by the bunches on needrom.com.
From JB, thru KK, onto LL. What more can you ask.
If you guys wanna try to save some battery, use Antutu Cpu Master and lower the GHz charge manualy from 1,7 GHz into 1,1 GHz and the phone will last 2 days with moderate use. Too bad GsmArena only tests Branded high end phones now. Because this one, would surprise you in all so many ways.

Phone usually blacks out even with at least half of battery life and does not turn on. Phone does not want to charge immediately after. Have to wait an hour or more to try and charge again so that the phone will open.

I didn't like this phone as its battery life is very poor,not as good camera quality.I will suggest not to buy this one.
