Other than the FM radio that the original Gionee has, the only other issue I can find on this phone is that you can not move "Apps" to SD. Only will move photos to SD.
Hopefully an OTA fix happens for that in the future.

The Gionee Elife E8 is is essentially identical to the BLU Pure XL. They both come in identical colors with identical accessories. The BLU Pure XL is intended for the US market, while the Gionee Elife E8 is intended for markets outside the US.
The differences between the two are all internal, as follows:
The warranty for the BLU Pur XL is good for 1 year and only inside the US, while the Gionee Elife E8 warranty is good for 6 months outside the US.
The frequencies supported in the BLU Pure XL (weighted towards US carriers) are different than the frequencies supported by the Gionee Elife E8 (weighted towards more carriers outside the US.)
The Gionee Elife E8 has an FM radio, the BLU Pure XL does not.
The BLU Pure XL is priced at $349, the Gionee Elife E8 is priced at $749 in the US (probably much cheaper from sources outside the US.)
In all other aspects these two phone models are identical (except for brand.)

Excellent Gionee/Allview/BLU:
Antutu Benchmark I tested 57,000
Very fast and customizable camera.
Very little bloatware.
Great screen.
Battery can use improvement. Just make sure you install an automatic background killer to help. Set location to battery saving.
Would like to see a Snapdragon/Samsung chipset variant. Though the MediaTek X10 does very well on this phone.

Gionee elife E8 phone performance was not up to the mark. I purchased it on 19th Nov 2015 from Snapdeal. Phone motherboard was gone within 45 days after purchase and lot of heat when using 4G service.

This isn't a perfect phone but actually there is no perfect phone present in the market.. i wanted front autofocus camera with flash, dual sim+ different slot for memory card, otg support, good pixel density, 3 or 3+ gb ram, good clock speed processor, fast charging as well as excellent battery life, 4g, other latest features like fingerprint scanner etc etc etc etc.. some has 1 feature present & other missing & vice versa.. this is also the same.. but still a very good phone.. slightly overpriced but common guys & girlz.. who gives a dirt while spending on a non essential element of life..
Lastly: a request to u gsmarena... plz plz plz put this phone to your endurance test of battery as soon as humanely possible.. that will b a last test for me & if it passes that in my mind.. i'll buy this device

2- Check if U can send files through WIFI Direct.It Does not work.
3- Its Carefree launcher usually crashes.
4- Applications close automatically without our command.
5- Can not play WMV and MKV video files.
6- Check battery timing, it is much lesser than claimed.
7- Settings layout is very different and difficult.

Camera should be of Sony
Battery should be 6200 Mah
Sar Value should be less than 0.50 (h/b) to make this phone amazing
Please improve & add these features in ur next version gionee then i will buy it..plz.. take my feedback..i really need these features...
