AnonD-320397, 16 Oct 2014hiii I want to buy this model.. but some dealers r sugg... moreheyy ....i am using this phone since past 3 months ...this is very nice phn ...super fine features nd performace ...it heats in hot climate only ...not so in cool climate...be sure that do not update it to kitkat yet ....gionee is working on kitkat ....then u cn download it ....overall nice phone with beatiful performace ...

I am facing below two problems with Gionee S5.5 Mobi... more1) that problem is because the Gionee phone requires you to slide up or down to answer or decline a call so the motion of sliding your phone out if your pocket triggers one of the options automatically if the screen brushes against your trouser
2) download cloud magic or blue mail. Trust me, they are better email softwares for the Gionee than the default email client which is pretty poor

Gurnam, 17 Jul 2014I am using this phone from last 3weeks . This is very gud p... moreNo! Donot do it the kitkat drains a lot of battery which will make u feel angry and frustrated.evrything is good accept battery. I hope Gionee will relaunch kitkat with some bug fixes.

Battery is non-removable. what does it mean. once battery life is over, phone life is over?

Hey guys. Found the solution for the phone app opening problem. Just go to settings-apps-all-contacts and select turn off notifications option and then reboot the phone. Boom. No more problems. You'll still get the missed calls on notifications bar the app won't open up on unlock.
