I purchased dis new launch on may 21st 2014. I WS very happy wd its features n speed n performance..working fast den SAMSUNG.. Its very sleek n stylish produce BT on the next day when I started using net on dis piece it started getting hot from d upper side . when I confirmed the same from my friend who has also purchased d same piece he WS also very upset n he shared d same concern of heating from the upper side.I request d company to launch an update so DAT dis complaint can b resolved n v can look forward for better n updated device without any heat

this phone is very slim so its heating little bit....but i thing every smartphone has little heating problem. so that you people cant say its not good product..i m using this product still i dint get any problem in this.

i m using this phone since it has been flooded in the market it is a good phone and i love it

The mobile is great but I have a problem with the USB driver its not installing on my win7 PC.i have tried several times.I am not able to connect the mobile to my PC.
Also am not able to transfer files using Wifi Direct.

thanks gioneeee...for ota update...now fb has no problem......the only negtive that i found is heating at the top.......unless it is a superb phone....money worth..

Good news,
Gionee has released an OTA update which has fixed the application problems. The process can be completed through system updates and takes about 20 minutes based on your connection speed.
I used Facebook and UC Browser for a while and they didn't crash. I still have to try to execute some games and see how they perform.
But at this point, thanks to Gionee for responding to this problem quickly.

I am using this phone for last 2 days, its really very great, even my friend who is using s5 is jealous. its no lesser than s5. display is FHD super amoled plus same or better than s5, premium and attractive looks, all HD games can b played smoothly. camera is inferior than s5 but far better than any other phones. 2gb ddr3 RAM, moreover its really batter than s5 except fingerprint scanner and other theoretical specifications which can't b differentiated by even with high speed camera so no way to detect visually holding in ur hand unless u know specification. I took this phone after waiting for 2 months and comparing with many(100s) other phones and after reading review and u tube video. I am almost expert in giving review of phones.
pros - premium looks, ultimate display, great speed
cons- amigo is very bad, battery works for 24 hr on avg use, and 12-15 hr on continuous data on. shud provide >2500 mAh.
blindly go for this value for money if u r thinking of sony z or s4, s5 or htc one or any other phone of rs40-50k.
for gionee- plz stop using ur brain in developing ur amigo rather give routine unmodified jelly bean and provide update of kit kat at earliest.
