yesterday i purchased it... awesome phone... supperb screen.. light weight
everything is working fine... facebook application is working supperb...
camera quality is not upto the mark... thats the only negative thing..

i m also facing the same problem facebook is shutting down ...moreover none of my gestures are working..consult it with a service centre they are downloading 2gb file to update it they are telling after that facebook and all will start working..

@All who are facing the application problem with facebook and other apps,
I spoke to Gionee India Tech support today and they confirmed that they are receiving similar complaints from many customers. They will be releasing an update which will be available soon in Service centers.
We have to visit service center to get it fixed. As of now, the update is not available OTA.
I will keep my comments updated with their responses.
