Battery Drains Fast and Overheating (though all running apps have been stopped, only 4g sim was active)
Factory Battery started bulging
Purchased new battery battery and overheating stopped
Now charging pin is faulty and has to be positioned at an angle to charge it. It takes 4 hrs to align the charger pin so that it starts charging everyday.

My gionee s plus is not charging properly....other features are fantastic but the charging port must have to be built in a better way....battery is only ok..camera is fantastic...performance is mind blowing...sound quality id best....but gionee service centre is a holy shit place....

gionee s plus phone is worst mobile pls do not purchase anybody, it has very problems like battery drains, charging not done, customer center not there etc .

The truth be told , many people will keep complaining and keep buying new phones everyday because they are reckless users who never learn from the truth. The reason why your phone gets hot is simple. Obviously, You always put on you data and at this same time you are charging your device. Tell me why it can't get very hot?
Another stupid thing people do that gets me wondering is enabling almost all the apps and features on their phones thereby making their phones to be overloaded. This is crazy ! They want their phones to look attractive to everybody. Some even download malwares on their devices without knowing and their phones begin to malfunction. At the end of it all, their phones crash. The next they do is go around blaming the brand manufacturer while leaving the bad habits unchecked.
I use the same gionee s plus as you do but why is it that I don't have similar problems like you ? Some of the things you need to know are : Firstly ,manage you battery consumption. Never charge your set always except its below 15% . Go back and read the manual of the phone . Follow the simple instructions in the manual and observe the frequent mistakes you made. Now when you buy another hand set, follow the instructions , compare and see if you will not be a happier fan of any device.
It is adviceable not to always engage in brand condemnation. Remember the manufactuers have done the test before pushing the device in circulation. Over 80% of phones issues are created by users. It is in our own best interest ,when we are asked not to use third party chargers/accessories to charge our phones. Finally ,almost all phone brands are good but it all depends on the user's behaviour.

The worst charger I have ever seen..for every 3 months charger stops working...Since it is type-c charger cannot use other mobile chargers also....

I give my mobile for service,,, they return that after 17 days.......without any improvement......

I barely used mine for 3 months and it started giving me some problems. At first it was the charging port, when I went to their service center I was told to pay the sum of #5000 for repairs even though it was still under warranty. Most atimes no network and the play store isn't functioning. I wouldn't advise anyone to buy gionee s plus

I have purchased one Gionee S Plus 1 year back. I was very much satisfied with its performance. But recently I found that the battery was draining very fast and the phone is getting heated even on standby mode. Today when I opened the back cover, I was surprised to find that the battery has melted inside the phone. I am using mobile phone for last 15 years but never have come across any mobile where battery melts within the phone. After all it is a Chinese product. So do not buy a Chinese product.

This is the worse phone Gionee S plus i have ever use in my life. Less than 7 months the mouthpiece is not functioning again, now the battery has swollen and takes 8hrs before it charge up to 50%. I even order for the battery and they are telling me stories that the battery is not available. So sad.
I will never recommend this brand to anyone again. Full of fake advert and promises.
