Nike, 29 Nov 2016I have only used Gionee S Plus for less than a year and it ... moreSame problem with my Gionee splus. The battery percentage stops on 81 to 89 percent and wouldn't charge further. It takes more than 4 hours to reach to 100%.then I have to reboot and it suddenly shows the 100%.sometime the charger is on for quite a long time and still the same problem. Is it the charger or the battery?
I wouldn't have faced this kind of problem if I ve bought Samsung.
Pain of 16000 rupaye. And it hasn't completed even one year

I have only used Gionee S Plus for less than a year and it has developed charging issues. The charging port got broken over a month ago and the service center in Nigeria says the accessory is still out of stock till date.
I have bought the USB cable and plug for almost 4 times since I started using it. It keeps having untold issues. They are rather too expensive too.
I have been held to ransom as I resorted to desktop charger in order to use my phone.
The support in Nigeria is very very poor.

The support on this product in Nigeria is bad got mine for few month and started giving me charging issues now the phone is not coming up and Gionee customer care have not be able to do a thing on it.

I think some of the phone has issues from manufacturing.

After buying this phone its speaker giving kirr chirr like sound while playing music which is very irritating....gionee phone maker go to hell for making such a empty like box

The biggest mistake of my life buying this phone...after 3 months it started lagging than the battry draning and now the big issue screen flickering as well as process com,android stopped... went service centre but no results fed up with this phone plzzzz dnt buy this phone insted try some samsung phones they are woth bettr.... toatally cap

The one solution was the mail to gionee .... After one our they contacted me and in 10 days my phone was in my hand with full satisfaction.

you bought the phone because you presumably liked the price, spend the ~30 dollars on a replacement battery or buy a different phone next time...

AnonD-552741, 11 Oct 2016I seriously love my Gionee S plus, playing games with joy. ... morePoor company support....poor serivce.....poor products.....I am also a sufferer as like you......The battery backup is very poor....I have bought gionee S plus in january...but the mobile battery is burnt out and the center says that my cell is not in warranty because it is a burnt case...Nobody is resolving the issue and also blamming on me that the battery is burnt due to my usage...Talked with online support...their response is not good....means i have to take another way (consumer court) to resolve the issue........9534134016

I bought gionee s plus 7 months back. So far I have not faced any problem with its performance but battery got damaged. Battery has to be replaced. I would request gionee to look into this matter why battery life is so poor.
