[deleted post]you can buy a smartphone with better specs/features for almost the same price as gpad g5. g5 is not user friendly...it has no led light notification, no usb-otg.
camera is not great. it just takes decent pictures.

im planning to buy gionee g5, but ive heard that this phone is not working properly and is out of production.i'd like to know if this phone works properly and is it still under production? can anyone help me out?

great phone with less price,, just awesome when it comes to multitasking.battery should be charged for 8 hours in the first 3 days and all your worries about charging will solved..

Although i am quite impressed with this phone but nowadays i am facing problem like sometimes it doesn't supoort application , while sending file through gionee xender sd become automatically unmounted and most of time when i open an application the screen becomes black and then after i've to restart it. Rest of all these craps camera is good in low light , sound is awesome with shuttle music player and music equaliser app.

Theres something wrong with my messaging, I already cleared/deleted all my messages in the inbox, but still the app for the msging still showing that I still have one unread msg on it, but all of them were deleted already.Its like 1 read colored number on the right side part of the app icon. What seems to be the matter.Please give me your answers. If it was save from the phone storage then again I already tracked it and deleted it as well, should no msg on the phone storage as well since I deleted already the envelope that contains the msg's. Need your answeres, Gionee, love your phones, Pls. replay. Thanks.

gionee gpad g5....performance is good.
camera is average.
not user friendly....no led light notification to indicate a miss call, a receive message.
no led light to indicate phone is charging.
have to wake up phone to see if there is a message, a miss call and to see the level of charge.
my other cell phone has led light that is red while charging and color changes to blue when fully charged.

this is realy good phn..i jst luved it..camera music touch all things are awsm..in short pasia vasool..go for this phn frnds..

I purchased it on 3rd Jan from Sri Ram tower Lucknow. Overall performance is good. Screen is very bright and clear. Dosen't hang and no heating problem. Camera is good enough but not as good as my Nokia N8 which I am still using. Everything is good except battery. It takes nearly two and half hours to get fully charged and drains extremely fast and it's very frustrating.
