Better android users upgrade to lollipop. Remember android is Linux minus security. Bcoz most Android users are Microsoft windows users expecting viruses and all.. U can see in play store itself lot of snake oil sellers tauting antivirus for Unix!

sagar, 16 Mar 2015its not working not upgrading its says no connection while ... moreOTG completes only in step by step..you will need to restart the phone..it is buggy..chinese servers..may be that's why the update is slow and breaks often. It will download the update over WiFi after a couple of tries and install the update. WARNING: There are some reports of heating and restarting problems after update.

But I believe in straightforward way to overcome problems... I also faced restarting problem after updating .... But I simply follow the tips which I suggested.....now iam not at all facing such restarting problem....

u may find new updated handset at the same price bt u may never get such a grt battery life.
my suggestion go for the handset blindly (mark my words u wud never regret ur choice), as soon as u buy, do root and flash it with custom rom, battery standby will reduce by few hrs bt u will get nyc ui, nyc buttery smooth interface, no lags in notification or elsewhere.
even i bought it day before yesterday, rooted as soon as i got it in hands and i m a happy user.
im also planning to buy oppo n3 which doesnt have a grt battery life (most android handsets dont have) but my gionee handset will act as a power bank as have capability of reverse charging... yo yo

I'm thinking of buy one. I red all reviews and it seems quite a good device. And all aspects are looking great except some. Please if any user got any hanging issue, UI problem, lagging, broken display or anything reply me how did happen.

Raj , 12 Mar 2015If yr device restarting frequently after updating....some t... moreit is not virus..because android like other Unix system has only malware or phishing problems...unlike windows operating system. virus=windows. most ppl use windows and so belivs other OS also have virus problem which is not at all true. Linux, BSDs and other unix systems are for pro use. this CM security and all are scams nothing less!
but, here the thing is m3 update has something wrong like memory leaks which ends up restarting the device.

after update of my Gionee m3, its several times auto restart. gionee need to give good update to rectify the problem.

U have to follow. 1-remove unnassary application related to internet which invite virus... 2-install application like CM security, task killer, du speed booster... for removing virus & unnassary bugs............restarting of device is actually healthy for the device which repairs viruses & unnassary bugs.... But if it happens frequently than try the tips which I suggested...

new update causing frequent restarting of gionee m3 fone. happens randomly. first time restart happened while calling! be alert. report this to gionee forums.
