Please keep us updated on xda or FB about M3 custom ROM. I am using it for a month now and desperately feels the need to go for custom ROM since Gionee will not provide a way to remove bloatware to free memory.

u did not used m2 thats y u r happy with performance overall i can say its good phone but performance is not satisfactory but i hope this will due to amigo not a hardware issue ...anyway after porting rom i will again test if its due to amigo or something else ..i buy m3 coz there are some seroius upgrade in m3 like ips otg,128gb card support etc

dear users of m3 , i ve some doubts ..m3 has gorilla glass..? how is the over all running speed of m3 compared with moto g 1 st..? thanks in advance...

Ravi,
I bought from ebay at 10600?-great price for long battery.when you pick up your phone,pls chk if the pack is sealed.I think 2 phones in a row with fault is more than coincidence.
the phone is really nice and batterry hold up easily for two,days.My previous phones wer iphone and note 2.in comarison good phone with regard to batterry life and regular use.browsing is fast and blue tooth works well connecting to car .voice quality is good.ring tone lound enough and youtube videos work well and speaker volume is loud.
yes only problem i found as per my use is the notification slide is laggy.with nova launcer good speed was seen.
I could not root with iroot.I just wanted to remove the Amigo launcher and bloatware and probably enhance the speed.
