Guess Gionee needs to talk to Google Play Services which had an update on May 16, 2016 after which all these problems arose. My other 'better know' androids work 'like a charm' .....Cheers

Same here.... did a hard reset and still the download / update from Google Play not working. Bad phone but excellent battery of the Gionee M3

Arindam, 21 May 2016I have purchased on december 2015, but I m faceing the prob... moreHey me too had the same problem..i just cleared the "Google Play Services" app data from Settings and now it works like charm. Settings -> Apps -> Google Play Services -> Clear cache -> Clear Data and if need u can click "uninstall updates" and try with app updates.

phone is superb but its app download is limited due to malfunction of software which later got resolved but again another issue of double app icon on wall occurred. this cant be removed but ask to un-install.

Use king root from their website and don't forget to turn on your data during the rooting process

The only problem with this phone is this never ending /Pause downloading. I can't download nor update my Apps from Google play again. And I have tried everything, nothing seems to be working. I have uninstalled and installed to no avail. And some here have also restored Factory Setting to no avail. This means....

cant install or update any apps from playstore in gionee m3 ...it just shows paused with infinitely never ending download processing ....since i reset my phone,i was able to install or update apps...but ever soon the next day,same prblm start,cnt download any apps. Can u pls tell me the solution of it?

Last time my allview p6 energy (clone), was stopped download updates from google play. I format device from recorvery and...problem still exists. But i notice, it stop only in few wifi netqork and only in big city. In my home, all update succesful. I think, its deliberte ploy from google , because people have many old device, so no one buy new device. You think - uhh, i cant do it this this and this with my phone, i must buy new. But your phone is still great but with "virus" or something from google that Force you to bring more money for company. Now, we achieve peak of technology. Every year, from 2-3 years ago, wheres nothing new - only old product under new name.
I wrote that from great marathon m3 bug free 4.4.2 kitkat :)))
