Marshmallow update. Confirmed that not possible in near future. May be never get updated to Marshmallow. Within 10 months flagship of premium price getting obsolete.

Please, why shouldn't the phone be bought? According to some of the posts read, is it an inferior phone because I've fallen in love with it.

Started using Goober M5 marathon or but a month now. Yesterday it just stuck on the gionee logo that appears when you on the fone, and wouldn't go off or come on. Now it completely off, and only shows a line across the middle when I try to turn it on. It doesn't come on, why.

Best Android phone for now, battery last close to two days on core usage, sleek design, 3Gb Ram and a whole 64GB Rom, coupled with the octa core processor, M5 plus is a bomb.
