Writing this review after almost a years usage. I came here after reading the many positive reviews of this phone. (Just want you to know I wanted a CHEAPO fone for myself. I don't like the idea of spending a fortune.) The Price was tempting. But the company (BRAND) was Wrong. Believe me, if you are an avid Android lover and user, you will soon find this phone a terrible experience. And this is mainly because of the software. It has almost No options when it comes to battery or app management. In other words, it closes apps randomly even though you have selected "Don't optimize battery" for that particular app. It is filled with bloatware. Phone will regularly download apps like tiktok and moj and many others and consume your data without any permission or review or concern from your side. It will flood you with notifications about some impending "jackpot". Write now as I write this there are close to 8 such notifications. Also, you CANNOT get rid of these notifications. They are built as a bloatware, irritating phone like If you are on a budget, go get a second hand and preferably higher end phone from a respectable company like SAMSUNG which is known for good software and no ads or bloatware. ( I have started using an 8 year old Lenovo vibe p1 which is better than this phone even though its ram also is the same, camera is top notch and experience is polished and decent and of a worthy expectation )
Here is a list of bloatware gionee has installed on my phone to now- block hit, candy crush, daily hunt, game see, josh, kotak account open, kotak bank, moj,, moj lite, newspop, onet, pool tricks, power pop blast, share chat, slice it all, Snapchat, solitaire, tile match 3d, treble check, trell etc.
What's more I hv stopped deleting these apps,....... GIONEE REINSTALLS THEM and uses up mobile data...... (because almost immediately gn_push app reinstalls it consumes mobile data, there is no way to disable gn_push app )

This is a spec and performance wise better phone than many in its class. Especially phones like j2 core, however, there are some Ui and software issues. If you're ok with them then u may buy it...1. this phone batery optimizattion can not be controlled properly.. many times the phone closes app even if u have set to dont optimize.2.ui is not very customizable and feature less. 3. lots of bloatware... i found various ways to control it like using a netvpn app to block internet traffic to these apps which download automatically ( gn_news ). there are other issues like phone does not recognize default apps and many of its in built stock apps are low in quality

Its very good phone in RS.5000 only.
Good display, good performance, good battery backup & charging. Camera also good but should be better. No Hang, lagging no any issue. Smooth & good performance.

It's a good Processor for general use. Becoz the processor have 8 latest Cortex A55 Cores...
